Internship

Internships are an essential part of preparation for working in the museum and gallery fields.  Three units of an internship are required for the minor and can be arranged with the SSU Art Gallery as well as at local and regional galleries, museums, and other related nonprofit organizations.

The University Art Gallery offers internship opportunities to students who wish to earn academic credit and gain experience in a non-profit art gallery. Internships are offered each semester and require a student to work 45 hours for every 1 unit of credit earned (135 hours = 3 units).

To inquire about gallery internship opportunities, please contact the Exhibitions Coordinator for assistance completing the Internship Agreement Form.
