Aaron Delehanty is an artist, maker, teacher, painter and all around active citizen of the Art World. He grew up in Rochester, New York but spent half of his life exploring. One can currently find him in Spencerport, NY working out of a 2 story barn. His love of art and environmentalism led to a decade-long career as a studio artist in natural history museums working closely with zoologists, botanists, ecologists, and others to make art pieces that communicate the natural world. Today he works independently in his studio (dubbed Loud Cow Studio) working on natural history diorama commissions. 

 

Aaron Delehanty is a well known diorama artist whose work is in the permanent collection of the Field Museum in Chicago, The Rochester Museum and Science Center, Cumming Nature Center, Groton State Forest in Vermont, the Pittsburgh Zoo and on the campus of M.I.T.. 

 

He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the College of Art at R.I.T. His work space- Loud Cow Studio- doubles as an alternative art space hosting curated art exhibits. He has exhibited widely and his work has been featured in New American Paintings and TEDx. A graduate from the Masters program at the San Francisco Art Institute and the bachelor's program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; he lives, works in Spencerport, NY.
