Kate Oltmann is a works on paper artist who received her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design. Her work is rooted in feminist scholarship that investigates hegemonic domesticity as a site of security and vulnerability. Oltmann's work evokes the push and pull of the transgressive embrace of homemaking, caregiving and labor through a lense of lived experience.
