Assoc. Professor Letha Ch'ien's Reviews the Photography of Irene Poon
Dr. Ch'ien, Assistant Professor of Art History, features the photography of S.F. artist Irene Poon in her latest article for the San Francisco Chronicle, S.F. artist Irene Poon’s photographs capture small, beautiful moments in Chinatown and elsewhere.
Currently on view at the Fine Arts Gallery at San Francisco State University, for the month of July, the solo exhibition of Poon's photography displays works dating from 1962 to 2015. Dr. Ch'ien says, "If you haven’t heard of Irene Poon but admire Ansel Adams, it’s time to see her work."
